Sprinklr Agreement With Kerala Government

The order issued Wednesday indicates that the agreement from March 25 to September 24 or the end of the COVID 19 pandemic is effective, depending on the previous date. Both Am1. and 12 confirmation letters, however, there are glaring differences and a change in tone from the date. It adds that the data will be returned after the contract expires or is terminated. Supreme Court lawyer and cyber lawyer N.S. Nappinai, who appeared for the state government, said Sprinklr did not have access to the system. The data was collected from the base with a mobile medical application developed by Sprinklr. The UDF alliance, led by Congress, and the BJP rejected the agreement and said the agreement risked crucial health data for thousands of people without their consent. To reaffirm its transparency, the government also published documents relating to the contract it signed with Sprinklr on 2 April.

Documents include the order form, a service agreement, the company`s privacy policy and a confidentiality agreement. The documents show that the data belong to the Kerala government. The Kerala government announced to the High Court on Monday that its agreement with the US company Sprinklr, which handles data on patients with COVID-19 in the state, remains intact. The government responded to a question from the court as to whether the agreement with the company was still in effect. The Kerala government has denounced the agreement reached with the American technology company Sprinklr on the collection and management of health data of Covid 19 patients and isolated patients in the state. Previously, Kerala High Court had ordered the state government to anonymize all COVID-19 data collected and collected so far and allow Sprinklr to access the data before the end of the anonymization. It is clear from the confidentiality and service agreements signed with the company that the ownership of the health data belongs to the Kerala government, even if it was temporarily hosted on sprinklr servers. There is no exchange of financial favours in the agreement. “Sprinkler will ensure the security of all the data they have collected. Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT) is now fully responsible for the data,” said the government lawyer Kerala during the court hearing.
